This is a set of clearly defined standards, developed and designed to govern the management of human capital at all levels within an organization. SIPPTM has been developed to aid businesses in designing and integrating appropriate Human Capital policies and processes that will, when correctly implemented and enabled, deliver information that will contribute appropriately to business decision making on all levels. SIPPTM consists of a set of statements. Each of these statements has some element of flexibility embedded within it and the standards should be interpreted literally. Industry techniques, tools and methodologies exist to achieve each of the standards. The standards are presented in three clusters and the first cluster has to be applied in a strict chronological. Changing the order makes the standard useless and impacts directly on the value of the Human Capital delivery and the perception thereof. The clusters are; Cluster I: Core practices for the foundation of Human Capital. This core cluster is foundational because it sets out the essential, core and most significant of the HR processes required by the SIPPTM standard. This specific cluster is listed in chronological order. Cluster II: Transactional practices - this cluster represents the end-to-end transactional processes in HR. It requires and relies on the stability of the core cluster. The items in this cluster are not necessarily listed in chronological order. Cluster III: Value add - this cluster of standards includes practices such as career pathing, maturity pipelines and talent grids. It should never be embarked upon until the core and transactional process clusters are stable. Standard Integrated People Practices SIPP TM takes the fundamentals of understanding "work" and links it to appropriate processes for organising, developing and rewarding people. |
